Wool yarn forms the material basis of Arctic women´s socks. Wool is a unigue natural material that generates heat when wet. Excess moisture is carried away by the polypropylene fibers to the outside of the sock and the foot feels dry. The reinforced toe construction passes under the foot over the heel to the hem and protects the Achilles tendon and ankles. An elastic bandage passes over the instep and foot, fixing the sock on the leg. The simple instep binding improves the overall ventilation of the footand improves the overal heat balance. The sock ends with a high, double hem of the binding with a very soft clamp.
